Excellent storytelling! πŸ’―

And I love how he says β€œI don’t know.” in answer to a question about a story of his own, and I like that he sticks to it when further questioned.

I tend to have that perspective about stories that I write. Unless it’s actually written down in a story that I’ve published I tend to say something along the lines of I can have theories or think something is more or less likely, but I generally try not to say definitively. I also like when an interpretation that I have of a story that I’ve written is different from an interpretation that someone else has.

As Akela said, β€œThat happens when you tell a story. Sometimes it takes on a life of its own.”

So fun to see that concept that I really like in this story!

Thank you for writing this story and for sharing it with us readers! πŸ™

Thanks. Honestly, you are kind of an inspiration in encouraging spontaneous, anything goes fiction.

Yeah, this one was fun to write.

And nice! It’s fun for a writer to see where a tale might take them!

I loved how this starts as a kids’ popcorn puzzle and somehow turns into Atlantis, truth, exile, and the strange way stories refuse to obey even their own author :)
